Welcome to my website! I’m Jennifer Hatch. Through this blog, I hope to share ideas for engaging with kids in order to strengthen family relationships and cultivate curiosity and a love of learning.
I lived in the same house for 18 years and then spent the next 18+ years in six states and four countries. I love traveling and exploring new places, especially when I can stay long enough to get a true feel for the people and cultures. I have a master’s degree in library science and have worked as a children’s librarian at a large suburban library as well as a “bibliographer” for an awesome book database called NoveList (owned by EBSCO and accessed through public libraries). Basically, I was a professional book recommender! These days, I’m raising three energetic boys in Austin, Texas. I’m excited to connect with the wider world through this blog and share ideas for reading, learning, exploring, and just plain having fun with kids.
